The EAAC is one of the largest events for the actuarial profession in Asia. This event will be held in Singapore from 15 – 18 October, 2013. The EAAC member associations include Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Chinese Taipei and Thailand.

Prior EAAC conferences have attracted over 500 actuaries and industry professionals from the region and around the globe. We expect the 17th EAAC to be equally exciting and successful.

The Conference schedule will span over three and a half days and offer sessions designed to appeal to actuaries from different practice area. Parallel sessions will be offered that address topics within the Life Insurance, General Insurance, Health Insurance and Risk Management. Sessions will include invited speakers, organized panels, authors of new papers, and opportunities for discussion.

Many of EAAC’s participants and speakers are prominent industry executives and experts. The EAAC have always provided a dynamic forum for discussion and debate among the members of the actuarial profession and those who work closely with the profession. The 17th EAAC features an exciting programme and we are lining up a list of outstanding speakers. In total, we are expecting up to 6 Plenary and 32 Parallel Speakers in a variety of formats.

The 17th EAAC also promises an enjoyable Social Programme for delegates and their accompanying guests. In addition to the Welcome Reception and Gala Dinner, there will be a half-day tour to allow delegates to enjoy Singapore.
